RSPCA Good Business Awards

12 October 2007 - At a gala event hosted by journalist and broadcaster Richard Johnson at the Natural History Museum, The Swan Inn was revealed as the winner in the independant restaurant category, achieving higher standards for animal welfare.

Richard Johson who was also one of the judges said: " The Swan Inn's credentials and quality are superb. It provides absolute assurance that the beef for its restaurant came from animals reared to a high welfare standard, as the owners are also farmers. The adjoining farm shop which provides organic meat , dairy and grocery supplies for the restaurant, also provides a great educational opportunity for customers to see what's going on."
